Redesigned Hospital Website with CMS

Silver Cross Hospital is opening a brand new campus on February 26, 2012. To go hand-in-hand with the beautiful new hospital, we designed a brand new, striking, and functional CMS (content management system) website from the ground up.
A few weeks after the new site went live, we spoke with Ben Hernandez, E-Marketing Coordinator at Silver Cross Hospital, to see what he thought of the new look.
“I love the new web site! The design is fresh and it supports our new Silver Cross branding. The navigation is improved and I love the bells and whistles of the rotating banners and icon banners.”
But according to Hernandez, the best part is not the shiny new exterior, but all the tools under the hood.
“The CMS is the best part. Now we can easily update the site without using a third party do it for us.”
One of the great things about CMS is the amount of collaboration it welcomes. Once the intricate programming work is finalized, the actual content on the site can be plugged in quickly by anyone with administrative access.
Our role at DC Interactive Group was to build the new site and make sure it ran smoothly. When we were sure it did, we handed the keys over to Silver Cross, and they can now add new content to the site whenever they wish, all with a few simple mouse clicks.
