WordPress Hosted Blog Gets a Great Design

For Sherman Health, their Heart blog has proven to be one of the most effective interactive tools in their arsenal. This is thanks, in large part, to a dedicated cardiologist on staff, Dr. Malinski. He readily answers heart-related inquiries submitted by readers, and his responses are published on the Heart blog.
When 2011 hit, it became apparent the design of the Heart blog needed to be updated to match the great content.
After a brainstorming session, a plan was hatched, and the look went live on February 1 to coincide with the start of Heart Month. Depicted in vibrant animated form is Dr. Malinski, flying above Sherman Hospital.
We created the image in-house, and also uploaded a customized sky blue background to complete the new look. To top it off, all of this was done with free WordPress web hosting. So for those of you under the impression that starting a free blog is limiting, it may be time to re-think your position.
